Abstract

Learning is a series of activities carried out by teachers to transmit knowledge to students. The success of children's education depends on various environmental factors in children's education. The first education for children is family education because, in family education, children are the first to receive parenting education, guidance, and training. When parents carry out the task of educating, they cannot fully meet the educational needs of their children. Therefore, these tasks are given by school teachers because teachers have knowledge and knowledge, especially in education. However, the Covid-19 outbreak has affected educators, parents, and students who need to adapt to the changes. The face-to-face learning system was originally carried out with a bold learning system (on the network). Therefore, it is necessary to have learning that is following the environment, especially learning at home, one of which is by applying metamorphosis learning in science subjects. This study aims to find out the form of collaboration between teachers and parents in designing and implementing metamorphosis learning and the process of knowing students in carrying out metamorphosis learning at home. This study uses a case study method because there are several limitations in the study. The results of this study indicate that applying metamorphosis learning can teach students to learn independently in their observations so that the burden of parents in helping their children learn is not too heavy. Therefore, the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents to carry out bold learning well.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in elementary schools is an education that is useful for improving students’ skills in understanding and using good language as a communication tool in oral or written form in everyday life. This era of globalization has brought developments in technology and interesting information for learning namely video. So researchers are interested in analyzing the intrinsic elements of the “Asal Usul Cikaputrian” video as an alternative teaching material for writing narrative essays. This study uses a qualitative approach and content analysis methods. The research subject is the intrinsic element contained in the dialogue “Asal Usul Cikaputrian”. The aims of this research are: (1) to describe the intrinsic elements obtained in the video of “Asal Usul Cikaputrian” folklore video (2) to describe teaching materials for writing narrative essays from the analysis of the intrinsic elements of “Asal Usul Cikaputrian” folklore video. Therefore, when teachers use teaching material in the process of learning activities to make it easier for students to understand and achieve learning success. The teaching materials were obtained from the results of the intrinsic elements analysis of the video entitled “Asal Usul Cikaputrian” from Banten. The intrinsic elements studied by the researcher are theme, character, plot, point of view, and mandate. Through alternative teaching materials for writing narrative essays for fifth-grade elementary school students, teachers can apply these teaching materials in fifth-grade elementary school, by applying these teaching materials to be able to make it easier to master material designwhen conducting learning creativity to write narrative essays for more innovative learning.

Abstract

Jumping is a locomotor movement that makes the body ejected into the air which causes the body to be out of contact with the ground or from the tool and for a moment causes a flying phase. The game of jumping rope is potentially used as a medium. The study aimed to find out the steps to increase children's jumping ability through a game of jumping rope in group B TK Pertiwi 3 Karanganyar. The subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years at Pertiwi 3 Karanganyar Kindergarten. The total number of children is 15 children, consisting of 7 girls and 8 boys. data collection method in the form of observation sheets and documentation. Based on the empirical data obtained through this research, it shows that before the implementation of the pre-action, the increase was 46.67% with the Start of Development (MB) criteria. After the action was held in cycle I, it increased by 61.67% or with the criteria of Developing According to Expectations (BSH) but these results had not yet reached an indicator of success, namely 80%, for this reason, the researcher held an advanced cycle of cycle II which achieved 80.33% success or with Very Well Developed (BSB) criteria. Therefore, learning the ability to jump through rope jumping games in Group B TK Pertiwi 3 Karanganyar, Sambungmacan District, Sragen Regency was said to be successful and achieved indicators of success in research and the research was stopped

Abstract

Gross motor skills are an important aspect for the development and growth of children. Based on the background above, the formulation of the problem in this study was "How to improve gross motor skills through jumping rope in group B TK Pertiwi 1 Pengkol?" The aim of the study was to improve gross motor skills through a game of jumping rope in group B TK Pertiwi 1 Pengkol. The method used is a qualitative method of class action research. The research subjects were taken from group B students of TK Pertiwi 1 Pengkol Tanon District, Sragen Regency with a total of 26 children in three cycles. Based on empirical data obtained through this study, it shows that the average percentage of children in 1 class has increased from before the pre-cycle action was held at 49.81%. After the action was held in cycle I it increased by 73.40%, but these results had not yet reached the indicator of success, namely 80%, for this reason the researchers held a follow-up cycle, namely cycle II, which reached 86.35%. The average percentage obtained by children in 1 class has increased so it is concluded that the gross motor skills of group B children in TK Pertiwi 1 Pengkol Tanon, Sragen Regency can be improved through a game of jumping rope.

Abstract

The background of this research was that Civics Education learning about joint decisions has not achieved satisfactory results and there were still many students who scored below the Minimum Completeness Criteria. Most students had difficulty in understanding the notions of joint decisions and were less active in learning activities so that students had not fully mastered the material of joint decisions. This study aimed to improve students' understanding and learning outcomes about joint decisions by creating a conducive learning situation by applying the discussion method. The subjects of this action research were fifth grade students of State Elementary School of 1 Cikukulu semester II for the 2021/2022 academic year. Research data obtained by means of observation, documentation and field notes. From the analysis of research data, the following conclusions are drawn: 1). The learning planning carried out by the teacher by applying the discussion method can be a guide for the teacher in the implementation of learning so that learning is directed and student activities are guided. 2). The learning process carried out by the teacher by applying the discussion method can increase student activity in participating in learning activities so that students are active in digging up information about learning materials and have implications for increasing students' understanding of learning materials. 3). With the implementation of the discussion method in learning about joint decisions at State Elementary School 1 Cikukulu, it can increase the conduciveness of learning because learning occurs in multiple directions, learning is not focused on the teacher alone, students become active in participating in learning activities.

Abstract

Children aged 5 to 6 years have motor skills based on their level of development. Children's fine motor skills cannot develop by themselves but must be developed and trained regularly. One effort that can improve children's fine motor skills is that it can be done by the teacher using creative and fun media. The media used to improve children's fine motor skills is by making collages. From previous research, patchwork media has been proven to be able to increase the attractiveness of students to create something new with better results. The problem in this study was that the researcher wanted to find out how to increase the ability to stick pictures using patchwork media for group B children at Pertiwi 2 Padas Kindergarten with the aim of research to improve children's ability to stick. The research subjects were conducted in group B with a total of 20 children and an age range between 5 to 6 years. With a total of 9 male students and 11 female students. Data collection was obtained from observation and documentation. From empirical data, the initial conditions for the ability to stick to group B children were at an average percentage of 20 in 1 class of 43.75% with the criteria for Starting to Develop (MB) in cycle I increased to 71.46% with the criteria for Developing According to Expectations (BSH). by taking action using patchwork and increasing in cycle II to 86.67% with the criteria of Very Good Development (BSB). So it can be concluded that patchwork media can increase the ability to stick pictures in group B children in Pertiwi 2 Padas Kindergarten

Abstract

Education functions to empower human potential to preserve positive cultural values, and create changes in a more innovative direction. Early Childhood Education plays an important role in developing children's creativity and skills. Developing children's creativity, especially painting creativity, children can express their imagination and can also learn to control their hands, coordinate their thoughts, eyes and hands, and express themselves through art. along with the development of the era, painting activities developed using unconventional media, one of which was painting with the technique of tasting with bottles. The research conducted was collaborative class-based Classroom Action Research, which is research that is practical, situational and contextual based on problems that arise in daily learning activities in Kindergarten. The research was conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were group B students of Pertiwi 1 Bonagung Kindergarten with a total of 31 children consisting of 16 boys and 15 girls. By utilizing used bottles, it is hoped that children will be able to improve their understanding of painting. Based on these data it shows that the activities of each cycle the average percentage obtained by children in 1 class has increased, for this reason researchers have been successful and achieved mutually agreed indicators and it is proven that painting with used bottles can increase the creativity of group B children in Pertiwi 1 Kindergarten Bonagung.

Abstract

Learning sciences in State Elementary School of 2 Pagerageung had low learning outcomes. This was inseparable from the learning system implemented by the teacher. This was related to the main problem to be answered in this research to what extent a contextual approach improves the science learning outcomes of plant reproduction materials in sixth-grade students of State Elementary School of 2 Pagerageung in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research was Classroom Action Research which is carried out through two cycles, namely, cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results obtained in this study were an increase in learning outcomes in science sixth-grade plant reproduction material. Through a contextual approach, there was also an increase in learning outcomes that can be seen from the initial conditions from the results of the discussion. The average value of student learning outcomes before the implementation of the action was 19% who have completed fulfilling the KKM, which increased in the first cycle to 65%, then increased again in the second cycle to 85%. The class average also increased from 73.1 to 83.7. Teachers’ activity has increased from cycle I to cycle II, marked by an increase in the average score, namely in the first cycle with an average predicate of good (3.3), then in the second cycle, it increases to a very good predicate (3.6). It can be concluded that a contextual approach can improve science learning outcomes for plant reproduction materials in grade VI students of State Elementary School of 2 Pagerageung, Tasikmalaya Regency in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

Children's fine motor skills are very important to develop and games can be an alternative. Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Suwatu Kindergarten also needs development because there are still some students who have not developed their fine motor skills optimally. The purpose of this learning improvement is to improve children's fine motor skills through cutting and pasting pictures. This research is in the form of collaborative class action research with actions in the form of cutting and pasting activities. This learning improvement took place at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Suwatu Kindergarten, which was held in April 2019. The research subjects were students of Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Suwatu Kindergarten Group A, where there were 30 students, 20 boys, and 10 girls. Learning improvement activities were carried out in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation, while technical data analysis used data tabulation. The results achieved in cycle 1 were not maximized so to achieve the indicators that had been determined, the improvement activities were continued in cycle 2. And in the learning improvement activities in cycle 2, the results achieved were very good, as expected and the indicators that had been determined. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that children's fine motor skills can be improved through cutting and pasting pictures.

Abstract

Educators are expected to be able to apply learning models that can motivate students to be more active, responsible, respective and cooperative to others and can improve student learning outcomes. One of the learning models that can be used is the talking stick type cooperative learning model. This research is expected to be able to solve problems related to students' thematic learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the talking stick model and audio visual media on the thematic learning outcomes of students. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a non equivalent control group design. This study uses a saturated sample technique. The instruments used in this study are tests and non-tests, while data analysis uses simple regression tests and multiple regression tests. The results of the study concluded that there was an effect of the application of the talking stick model and audio media on the thematic learning outcomes of students as well as an increase in N-gain of 0.59 in the "Medium". So it is hoped that the application of the talking stick model and audio-visual media to the thematic learning outcomes can be used as a reference for elementary school class teachers
